FontPress – WordPress Font Manager
FontPress is a small but powerful typography tool to easily power your theme, managing virtually any font.
Is this a mix of Google Fonts, Adobe Typekits, @font-face fonts, or simple CSS fonts?
The FontPress plugin also supports the new Google Early Access fonts for non-Latin languages!
Add or simply select the sources you want to use. Create global rules and eventually concatenate them. You can manage a wide list of parameters to properly configure the sources:
- font size ( with response units )
- line height
- font weight ( with complete list of parameters )
- font style ( normal, italic or oblique )
- text decoration ( underline, overline and line-through )
- text transformation ( uppercase, uppercase and lowercase )
- text color ( compatible gradients )
- spacing between letters and words
- outline ( width and color )
- shade ( offset, opacity and color )
- background color ( support gradients )
Typography Shortcode
Create custom text blocks without any CSS knowledge, simply by using the typography shortcode.
FontPress comes with a handy wizard, turning complex settings into just a few clicks!
Visual Font Preview
There are many plugins that allow you to use custom fonts, but FontPress adds an essential extra to project your changes.
Displays font previews in all their formats (standard, bold, italic, bold italic) and allows you to preview custom text in specific font sizes.
Responsive Text
Responsive content management is often a real pain: hours wasted writing heavy code. FontPress could be a real time saver in these situations, featuring CSS3 responsive units for font size and line height.
Fits very well with the builders
Don't know what CSS selectors are? Visual builders could be a great opportunity for you.
Most elements give you the ability to add a specific class or ID. Then it will be a breeze to use FontPress rules. Optimized and highly targeted code without any knowledge or room for error - just brilliant!
Automated Updates
Using a premium plugin often means having to update it manually – wasting time and teaching customers additional procedures.
