LearnPress Assignment Addon is an excellent way to assign homework and essays to your students so they can complete and submit them at home. Teachers can then review and grade the student work.
The function of the LearnPress Assignment Addon
- In response to the growing demand for Assignments and to allow instructors to grade assignments, we have launched the LearnPress Assignment Addon.
- With the LearnPress Assignment Addon, your course will be more flexible, allowing instructors to create assignments, essay tasks, and set deadlines for students to submit their work. Afterward, the instructor can review the student's work and grade their performance. Students will receive email notifications when their assignments have been graded.
- With the LearnPress Assignment Addon, you'll have another way to grade and won't rely too heavily on quizzes. It allows students and instructors to communicate, discuss, and generate better results.
What does the LearnPress Assignment Addon look like on the front end of your WordPress website?
It depends on the theme you're using. This is how the Student List will appear for the default theme.
- Before completing the task: students can read the task description and click the "Start" button to begin reading more details about the task and submit their response.
- After clicking Start: students can view more details of the assignment, download attachments for the assignment, and add their own response and upload files for the instructor.
- After submitting: Your students can choose to SAVE their response so they can return later, make changes, and SUBMIT the response later. Clicking SAVE will save their responses to the database, but this will not send the response to the instructors. Below is a screenshot of what students will see once they have SUBMITTED the response.
- After grading, the student can check the grade in the course or can also access it from their profile.
What does the LearnPress Assignment Addon look like on the back-end?
Once you have installed the LearnPress assignment plugin, you will see a new Announcement tab in the backend, and during course creation, you will see another type of lesson in addition to the traditional lesson and quiz: Assignment.
- Task setup: For each task, you can add a description for the student before the task begins and some documentation, attachments such as workbooks, ebooks, videos, etc., for them to use to complete the task.
- Other task settings: In addition, there are other task settings such as duration (deadline), maximum score (mark), passing grade: the grade required to pass the task, number of repetitions, number of files you can upload, and the file size limit that students can upload.
- How instructors can review assignments: In the backend, the instructor can review the Assignment tab, where the assignments for the course they are teaching will be displayed. The assignment tab will also show the number of students taking the course.
- How grading works: The teacher can check the student's submission, assign a grade (mark), and add notes for the student. If the assignment doesn't meet the requirements, after grading it, the teacher can choose to re-evaluate, allowing the student to resubmit their work. This will send an email to the student notifying them of the teacher's grade.

Will I get updates?
Absolutely. If you buy an individual product, you'll get lifetime updates for that product.
On the other hand, if you purchase a membership, you will receive updates until your membership expires.
What if I have a problem?
First of all, we want you to know that you can count on us. We will assist you and provide the necessary support, so you can rest assured.
On the other hand, it is important for you to know that, given the time difference between countries, your time and ours may not be the same, so we will be delayed accordingly.
Our opening hours start at 9 AM from Monday to Friday, UTC -3. We are open until around 6 PM.
Do they provide technical support?
Yes, and regarding the time, it is usually on average within 24 to 48 business hours.
However, there are times when we have already provided an answer and solution in less than a day, depending on the case.
Are there download limits?
No. We don't believe in that format, so you can download as many times as you want. No problem. We pay for high-quality professional storage precisely to avoid problems.
Do they provide license keys?
No. Giving out the keys is not a viable option, as we have had experiences where they end up circulating everywhere and we can even lose the associated accounts.
That said, all products are original and, in cases where a license key is required to function, we will take care of pre-activating them for you.
Does my purchase include an invoice?
Yes. After payment, you will be able to access your invoice immediately in the "Purchases" section of your user account.
That is why it is important that you properly complete the information requested at the time of payment.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, of course. If there's a problem we can't resolve, or if there's an external issue that doesn't have a general solution, you'll receive support and, if necessary, a full refund. We have a 14-day refund policy from the date of purchase.
- It should be noted that there is no warranty if the product works well and it simply wasn't what you wanted.
There have been instances where someone buys a product, the product works perfectly, but they don't like it and want a refund, keeping the product. That's not right.
However, everything is evaluable and reasonable. Let's use judgment together.
