Aelia's currency switcher for WooCommerce allows your store to display prices and accept payments in multiple currencies. This gives your customers the ability to shop in their favorite currency and helps increase conversions.
Aelia Currency Switcher for WooCommerce allows your Visitors to select which currency they would like to see their prices in, as well as complete transactions in that currency.
How does it work
Once enabled, Aelia Currency Switcher will allow you to configure a list of currencies that you would like to accept. These currencies will appear in a list, displayed as a widget, that your Users can use to choose their preferred currency. When a customer selects a currency, the store will display prices and complete transactions in the new currency. The prices shown in the store will be those that the customer will pay at the end of the order.
Increase conversion by lowering credit card fees
Credit card operators often charge a conversion fee when a payment is made in a currency other than the one for which the card was issued. This adds an additional cost to each purchase and can put potential customers off. Giving your Visitors the ability to pay in their currency can help improve conversion.
Each order will store the currency used to place it, so both store managers and customers can retrieve it and see how much they paid.
Keep in mind
Your ability to accept payments in each currency will depend on the Payment Gateway plugins installed on your site and the Payment Processors you use. If you're unsure, we recommend contacting them to verify that they'll be able to process payments in the currencies you'd like to accept.
