Meta Box Tabs Extension is an extension for the Meta Box plugin, which allows you to organize custom fields into tabs. The extension supports 3 tab styles with the same user interface as in the WordPress admin area. Developers can easily configure it, better organize custom fields in meta box, satisfy customers in a more user-friendly way.
No more coding for meta boxes
No more recoding for meta boxes. Your only job is to add more parameters for the tabs, like the tab titles and where each field belongs. In this way, the user interface is really clear and can be easily understood by customers.
Tabs can have icons. Meta Box Tabs Extension supports all icons from Dashicons (the default icon font for the WordPress admin area). Also, you can use any icon fonts or images if you want.
To keep things simple, we use the same user interface as in the WordPress admin area. This ensures that nothing surprisingly appears on your edit pages.
Tabs can be on the top or on the left (similar to what WooCommerce does). You can also remove the wrapper from the meta box to make the tabs look better (see screenshot below).
If you need more ways to control how custom fields are arranged, consider using Meta Box Columns. It allows you to place fields in a 12-column grid. Both plugins work well together.
