How WooCommerce Amazon Fulfillment works:
This extension is flexible and can handle a wide range of shipping scenarios, but its primary goal is to automate order fulfillment through FBA.
This primary purpose determines how and when the extension to send order data to Amazon is activated. Normally, you would never ship a product before receiving a valid payment, and this plugin works the same way.
WooCommerce Amazon Fulfillment only sends orders to FBA automatically after it detects the WooCommerce checkout complete event. It was tested with Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.Net and Amazon Payments, but should work with any other payment method that is properly designed for WooCommerce that activates the full payment action.
Therefore, all other typical WooCommerce setup such as payment gateways and shipping methods need to be set up and working properly before integrating with FBA.
Also, each product's SKU value in WooCommerce must perfectly match the seller's SKU field in FBA for Amazon to process, pack, and ship the order (this means it's also case sensitive!).
Whenever the complete payment condition is detected for an order, WooCommerce Amazon Fulfillment will send the order, customer and product information to FBA as an outbound fulfillment order for the products in the cart that are configured to fulfill via Amazon.
If there are any errors, the plugin will send you an email notification and record an order note with a detailed record of the order details and the error.
Before using the extension, you'll need to set up Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS) credentials that allow you to access your Amazon fulfillment account.
