How does AffiliateWP Direct Link Tracking work?
When the Direct Link Tracking plugin is activated, affiliates will be able to enter their domain (or domains) into their Affiliate Area on your site. Once they have submitted a domain for approval and the site administrator approves it, the affiliate can link directly to their site, from yours, without using your referral link.
When a visitor clicks on the affiliate website link and arrives at your site, the domain is searched in the database. If the domain belongs to an affiliate, that affiliate's ID is stored in the browser's cookies, just like a normal affiliate link.
If the customer completes a purchase (or conversion), a referral will be created for the affiliate.

Important note
- There are certain web browsers, like Safari on iOS, that have more restrictions. For example, when an affiliate's site uses http:// and your site uses https://, your site may not correctly detect the affiliate's direct traffic.
