What is WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery?
WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery is a WooCommerce extension that helps you recover unfinished orders in your store. When a customer adds a product to the cart but does not complete the checkout. After a scheduled time, the cart will be marked as "abandoned."
WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery will start sending a cart recovery email or Facebook message to the customer, remind them to complete the order.
Capture abandoned cart
When a user adds a product to the cart but does not pay for it. After a selected amount of time, the cart will be marked as “abandoned”. WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery will capture cart information including: date added to cart, customer email address, items added to cart, cart total, cart status, and IP address. Then, use this information to contact the customer, offer them a discount, and ask them to complete the payment.

- Table abandoned: Abandoned carts will be saved in the back-end of the plugin. And you can check the records at any time. The logs provide information about time, username, email, item quantity, cart total price, item list, status, reminder logs, customer IP, and country.
- cart status: The abandoned cart has 2 states abandoned and recovered.
- reminder logs: The reminder logs option allows you to check the email and FB message sent to the owner of the abandoned cart.
- Exclude: Exclude the username of people you don't want to track your cart.
Email Popup Request
A popup will appear when customers click add to cart for the first time, ask them to fill in an email address to complete the add to cart action.
After receiving an email, the popup will not appear again and users can add products to the cart as normal. And the email address will be auto-filled in the checkout form when the customer goes to the checkout page.
- Appear in: Choose the pages you want the request email popup to appear on. Single product pages, shop page, cart page.
- Email required: Choose if you want to require an email address to add products. If this option is disabled, customers can close the add-to-cart request email popup.
- Closing time: Set a time for the popup to reappear after a customer closes it.
- Redirect after adding to cart: When customers complete the email and add the product to the cart. You can choose to redirect them to the cart or checkout page.
- 2 templates: The popup has 2 built-in templates so you can change the front layout.
- Change the front-end text: You can change the text message in the popup window.
- Change the color of the popup window: All the popup text, background and color of the add to cart button can be changed in the backend of the plugin.
Send recovery emails
WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery ships abandoned cart recovery and abandoned orders. When a cart or order is marked as abandoned, the plugin will send a recovery email to the email address that the customer filled in the request email popup. Ask them to finish checking the cart and offer coupons if necessary.
- Send recovery email to members: Choose whether to send a recovery cart email to registered users.
- Send recovery email to guests : Choose whether to send a recovery cart email to guests.
- Send recovery email with abandoned orders: You can configure the WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Recovery plugin to send recovery emails to the owner of failed, cancelled, pending, or pending orders.
- Email templates: You can create many email templates and schedule them to send at different times.
- Send email rules: Set to send different recovery emails at different times.
